Huawei RH 1288A V2 server Overview

Huawei RH1288A V2 rack server is designed for compute intensive and cloud applications. This high-performance 1U rack server supports 2 Intel Xeon E5-2600 V2 series processors, 8*DDR3 RDIMMs/LRDIMMS slots, 8*2.5 SAS/SATA HDDs or SSDs or 4*3.5 SAS or SATA HDDSs. This server supports 2 GE ports without occupying any PCIe slots, improving network availability. Moreover, Dynamic energy-saving and power-capping technologies limit server power consumption to a preset threshold, improving overall energy efficiency.

The RH1288A V2 has the following two models:

The RH1288A V2-8S supports eight 2.5-inch SAS HDDs, SATA HDDs, or SSDs. Figure 1-1 shows the RH1288A V2-8S appearance.

The RH1288A V2-4L supports four 3.5-inch SAS or SATA HDDs. Figure 1-2 shows the RH1288A V2-4L appearance.

The server supports RAID 0, 1, 10, 1E, 5, 50, 6, and 60. It protects cache data from power failures, and supports RAID state migration, RAID configuration memory, self-diagnosis, and web-based configuration.

The mainboard can be configured with a SAS adapter or SAS RAID controller card (with a maximum of 1 GB cache) to improve hard disk storage performance and ensure user data security.

The RAID controller card does not occupy a standard PCIe slot, improving system scalability.
